I've had this game before on my laptop but it ran slowly and depressed m so I deleted it. I tried doing it on my new computer(One I'm using now) And it's having the black screen error that kicks me back to the desktop. So I deleted everything and starting from scratch. I have a bf2 disc and a valid key and I know I have to install it first. If anyone can give up some of their time to try and help me get through the ENTIRE process. Just tell me EXACTLY where to start and lead me through it. My email is [email protected] if you happen to lose this page. I really want to play this game and my grandma sepnt a lot of money on this for a graduation present... Don't worry about specs. I can guarantee you I can play this game. Still not working! I've done it 3 times BEFORE I asked for help and 3 times after you posted that guide. I don't know whats wrong! I constantly get the "pr.exe has stopped working" error. I really need an in-depth thorough walkthrough of this. Another thing I noticed is that both downloads aren't labeled as "Core" and "Levels". As insignificant as that may seem, it REALLY helps to know what I've downloaded and what steps I've taken. Please, can any more help be offered to me?

And it still doesn't work. It brings up the PR Banner, THEN the BF2 Banner, goes black, then brings me back to the desktop with no error messages or anything like that.

That installation guide is old, the files are now just called part 1 and 2. which you have downloaded and installed?

Mhmm.... I have downloaded them both.

Come on... Is there seriously no one who can figure out what the problem is? I've been wanting to play this forever and at this point, it's starting to feel like a chore to log on and even check if anyone replied. I want to play!

Alright

Step 1) Install BF2 with Patch 1.41 then PATCH that to 1.5
Step 2) Download Project Reality Part 1 and 2
Step 3) Install Project Reality Parts 1 and 2
Step 4) Restart your computer
Step 5) Play

Also, What are your computer specs out of curiosity? It shouldn't cause any (if all) problems if you do it right.

Ok I am just going to ask my question here. When I try to install 0.87 SP it says You need Project reality 0.87 to install. But the prob is I already have It can you help me please.

1. Why are you downloading .87 when we're on .91?
2. You have to have the PR.87 Multiplayer files + SP
