Im having some problems installing project reality 0.9 on widows vista. Whenever i get to the spot in the installer where you have to select your battlefield 2 directory, I select the folder that says battlefield 2 ex: c:/program files/Ea Games/Battlefield 2 i click next and get an error saying I need to select the root folder and the installer crashes. Im getting verry annoyed because it takes a few minutes to even get the installer started because its such a big file. This is my first time installing a project reality, and i followed the provided guide on this site, i even went as far as to unistall BF2 and install it to the same location that default pops up in the installer but i had the same luck. If any one could help me i would greatly appreciate it. Gosh i feel like such a noob!

Install bf2
Patch to 1.41
patch to 1.5
install pr 1&2

Root Folder Definition - What is a Root Folder?

Thanks for your reply. I am currently downloading the patches then i will try to install PR again. I was aware of what a root folder is. I only couldn't get the installer to work.

I also use vista, the PR installers take like 4 minutes to start up. :/

Rat, you have to turn off "User Account Controls" After you do that there is no delay at all.

Moved to "PR:BF2 Support"
