Calling Combat Effectivness

O.K so some of us have had this problem,so here's my story:So im playing on Muttrah City,im the SEALs squad so we take the boat and advance past the main line, then we get trapped in one of the apartments so we start to fire into the enemy,we kill about 10-14 of em,we camp out in the apartments so we don't die! Then a APC comes and fires on us and we fire back,it gets hit by our LAW and leaves,we call for ammo,it doesn't come,so we call for it again, our commander keeps calling us to move up,my SL tells him we can't but he calls us noobs cause we can't advance,we tell him we have NO ammo, but he still calls us noobs,we also tell him we arn't combat effective. So he left and then he came back just to say,"DIE IN HELL SEAL SQUAD!" so i would love a order that a Squad Leader could issue,"Not Combat Effective" so no one calls them noobs or that they can't do it,Combat Effective orders could last 5-10 minutes so it gets a good amount of time to get out of there or regain Effectiveness.

Sounds like you need a competent commander, not a new squad leader command.

Um what? He's saying you're having a rage and there is nothing constructive in your post, didn't think someone would have to spell it out...

You do know the "K" button is very effective. You press it and then pops up a little bit where you can type messages to your team like "Can anyone drop us some Ammo in *coordinates*?" and if you must "We are combat ineffective." etc....
If your commander is a prick and isn't doing his job you can go around him with the team chat, or even better, Mumble.

First off, I would encourage the use of paragraphs. I had to divide it up myself just so I could read this properly.

There is your first problem. PR is about Joe Infantryman and in no way should incorporate special forces. You should be helping the team by getting on the objective and not sitting behind enemy lines for no reason. Sitting behind on a flag which is not in play doesn't help the team, especially when they need numbers on a flag to cap it. I commend him for going off at you. It is useless squads doing some l33t special forces **** or not being on a flag that often causes the team to lose.
A 'we are combat ineffective' button is stupid, considering you not only should have mumble and teamspeak, but squad chat, team chat and VOIP chat to talk to the commander himself.

I didn't make the squad, usually the Spec Op Squads are for guys recording or having a excuse to explore the bloody map.I just did it cause it was the only open squad!I do have mumble and i did talk to the commander dude the next round on Iron Ridge,i pushed him off the cliff, but i didn't get a TK!

Sounds like a great way to promote good teamplay, sigh...
Considering that your squad weren't working with the commander in capping the flags, I don't see why he should work for you to bring up some ammo (which I presume is just for your LAT and not for everything else, OTHERWISE you should have a rifleman with ammo bag with your for support).
As for the suggestion, there's no real reason to have a specialist quote like this in current PR gameplay as it's damn easy to get more ammo (from any passing vehicle or just an ammo bag).
If you were a squad of pilots, then it would be a different matter all together.

sounds like you need to listen to your commander and do what he needs. no need for you to be that far back. PR isnt geared toward SEAL type stuff. i would have done the same thing as your commander and denied you supplies, im not going to send a helo that far forward and risk losing it.
PR is about teamwork with the whole team, SEAL squads dont really help that most of the time.

come on, that's not something to be proud of in PR.

I agree with your statement there, but the harm i've done with 3-4 guys in my "specops" squad, sometimes saved a large portion of the team or made a completely free acces to the area by taking down enemy eplacements. You just have to strike fast and at the right time.
There are specops squads doing nothing though.

There is no need for what you are asking for. If, for what ever reason, your squad or fireteam is unable to comply with your commander or leader request, then all you need to do is use the in-game chat.
If you are low on ammunition or supplies, you can also use the team chat to request supplies/ammo from another squad or player. If your commander and team are refusing to provide said items, then either your squad is not doing their job or your team is a bunch of retards.
And in any game, if you find yourself pinned down and unable to reach supplies on your own, and nobody else will bring you supplies after 2-3 minutes, you're better off just making a break for it. If you die, you die. You'll respawn shortly with a fresh supply of toys. But just hiding in a room somewhere waiting for the Bullets-R-Us delivery isn't doing anyone any good. Either run back to a supply crate or die trying. Who knows, you might get lucky.

don't ask for supplies when you're behind enemy lines and you know the chopper could get shot down easily, especially in muttrah.

Locking this as this is pretty much a venting thread.
And just a tip, don't brag about TKing ingame as you might find yourself at the short end of an infraction.
