When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object (Asad Khal)

It seems to me that Asad Khal is incredibly lopsided towards a Hamas occupied Asad Khal. There are various ways to fix this imbalance, however, I have chosen to go the 'over the top' method. Sometimes they end up being gold mines.

So in my scenario, the unstopable force represents Hamas. They are dammed near impossible to beat, often never going past the mansion flag. I started researching IDF vehicles and strategies thinking that THEY, if anyone, would come up with a solution to a terrorist (/hamas) occupied force.

In order to counter the various IEDs, RPGs, and small arms fire that would normally tear apart a conventional army akin to attrition, they introduced the legendary Caterpillar D9, with several itterations afterwards.

IDF Caterpillar D9 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The bulldozers were credited as being an invaluable tool for punching holes in the enemy line for friendlies, razing buildings confirmed with insurgent activity while under fire, and is also accredited to being instrumental in keeping casualties down. The machines are reported to take QUITE a beating, one account going so far as to have said the machine lived through half a ton of explosives from RPGs, RKGs, and IEDs.

This way, the IDF have the ability to PUNCH THROUGH towards mansion, using the massive bulldozer as cover. Some of them even came with machine gun stations =).

id rather see the out of bounds hill to the north removed so you can flank.

I'd rather see people searching.

I'm sure its going to be added if its really needed, however since so many buildings on maps are static the bulldozer won't serve much purpose.

The Namer APC is being added anyway, which will allow IDF to get the upper hand on this horribly ruined map.

The bulldozer wouldn't be appropriate because any rock or vertical stick can stop a vehicle, no matter how heavy, in the BF2 engine.

Now, if an engine had the damage and environment destruction properties of Red Faction Guerilla engine combined with the size and player numbers of BF, then it would be fantastic.

I only want a bulldozer if the enemy gets Rachel Corrie.
Seriously, though, I don't mind a challenging map or two.

And we didn't even capture the first flag...

That's what we get for storming-in with an entire team in a building just shooting enemies ;)

It doesn't even need more vehicles.

Just return the map to the original flag layout when it was Brit vs. MEC.

The only way the IDF is going to win is sit in main and out-camp Hamas, capping hardly ever works.

But year, this map does not need a bulldozer, it just needs the flags reverted.
