Eye protection from Sand

eye protection goggles used for shielding the soldiers eyes from oncoming sand flying around.
The idea is when your in a open vehical in a environment that has smoke or sand flying around in the air, your vision is effected by it and becomes temporarily impaired and blurred out becuase you have some foriegn substance in your eye.
Flying at high speeds in a helicopter sitting next to a open side door, some sand might fly in and effect your eyesite.
simply using the BF2 SF Gas mask as clear googles to be placed on your player by a tap of a button (default settings. 8 ) the mask appears on the players face.
just change the way the mask looks in 3rd perspective to look like a pair of tactical sand goggles.
the goggles are already placed on some of the player model's helmets, why not simply use them?
these are just ballistic googles.
putting these on will keep the players vision normal and visible from the airborne particles, dust and sand.
without use of this, player will experience the surpressed vision or the simple tear gas effect.

I quite like this. Although its aesthetic, it brings PR that extra bit closer to realism.
The supression effect would be fine, and it would have to be on DIRT roads or in deserts, doing it on maps like Ramiel would be a problem as they have areas where it would happen, and areas where it wouldn't.
This could very well be a re-suggestion though, I'm not sure.

Since we have limited number of items per kit, I don't like this. We have more important things than this.
But I think the player models (BLUFOR) should always have these or some other glasses on.

this would take up a weapon slot afaik, and a few kits are already maxed out, the rifleman I think.
Also I think this takes realism in to the kind of odd world where you have to do things like make sure your pouches are closed etc, stuff that gets in the way of gameplay rather than increasing immersion.
also, I don't know but maybe this might interfere with the suppression effect, but I dunno.
Could be good, I dunno, but it would need more applications than helicopters imo.

Maybe it could be a part of the kit that only appears when you're on a vehicle? The guys in a Huey won't get sand flung into their face, but anyone close to the landing zone will. A Humvee gunner won't get bothered by sand kicked up from vehicles, but it might happen to someone on the side of the road.

this IS a re-suggestion. but it is my Own suggestion from 2 years ago or more, it just got lost and locked.
there is no other suggestion like this one execpt for my first one which was locked and deleted from over 2 years ago. so i decided to add this suggestion again thinking that the technology would have changed.

I like it, just the idea of choppers picking dust when landing and vehicles leaving a dust trail, that would decrease visibility is cool

Sup yo,
This is a re-suggestion, which the OP did suggest himself just over a year ago.
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f18-pr-bf2-suggestions/55765-goggles-nvgs-feature-3.html
That thread is still open and active, a simple check of your
post history was all it took to find it. If you wish to continue this discussion you may do so in the above thread, however bear in mind that as it has not already been implemented following the original suggestion it is unlikely to be considered.
OP received an infraction for a useless/unhelpful post due to re-suggesting himself.
Cheers
