Though personally I've only used the bayonet for kills on unsuspecting enemies, I've never witnessed or done a bayonet charge, but I think it would be EXTREMElY fun to do so.

Imagine just charging in a 6-man human wave attack with bayonets and overrunning an enemy position. Pretty epic.

Has anyone here participated in a bayonet charge?

The only time bayonet charges ever worked for me was Operation ghost train (god bless that beautiful map)
Taken out full squads on that map with a bayonet.

I did once with my squad....ended with a bullet in the forehead for all of us
At least I managed to take 2 of them with me *muahhahahahah* ^^

I ducked into an alley to reload and ran into 2 enemies the other day, I guess they were flanking us. I killed one with the remainder of my magazine then charged the other one with a knife. Didn't work out too well, but there was a second of uncertainty before he started firing which was nice.

A couple of times. Byt yeah, Guns > Bayonet any time, especially with the current animation.

Well in 0.9+ ive only ever really charged once, got 2 kills with it mainly thanks to one of the enemies (who had a brit kit) was good enough sport to accept my challenge! First guy i just went BAM in the back. But other than that havn't found a good time to attempt. If you could fire with the bayonet on and stab fire in quick succession it would be easier but that is impossible so kinda useless.

Bayonet charges are for lolz, and little else

We both Ran out of ammo about 3 meters apart i charged at him he charged at me. We were there for like 2 mins trying to stab eachother until he finnaly got me.

I would have done it a lot more if the bayonet didn't restrict you from shooting while you had it on.

That would be too awsome.

I do them fairly often if the situation calls for it.

I did it Once on Barracuda, at the big hill ridge near the swamps. We as chinese ran off the hill, but we died in a huge barrage of crossfire while crossing the water. Since then I am afraid of the .50 Cal. machine guns.

I once bayonet charged with my squad on Bi Ming straight at the chinese through the forest while they were taking cover and reloading. It worked suprisingly well.

I want to have some medieval stuff in PR lately. Full server 32 v 32 all bayonets or knfies or any combination standing in line everybody on mumble (same channe), 100m apart with the commanders infront.

CHAAAAAAARGEEEEEE!! and then everybody starts running and clash in the middle. Last man standing wins.

Organised 2 squads of my friends to bayonet charge on an enemy fortified positions.Last 6 tickets...

When the bayonet was first integrated into PR I was on good'ol Mestia I had the SKS so naturally I attached the bayonet and charged at 3 brits and Stuck "em" that was my only ever successful bayonet charge. twas Phun
