Hi all,

My PR was running all fine befor I changed my system this Saturday. I now have Windows 7 Professional and I can't get any PunkBuster controlled game to work - including PR.
My config is as follows:
MoBo:
Gigabyte GA-EP43T-USB3 P43 Socket 775
Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Extreme CPU X9770 @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory:
4096MB RAM
Hard Drive:
500 GB
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
Operating System:
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100226-1909)

I downloaded newest PB -3.4 installed it, downloaded upgrades, selected the games and all I got is...the error in communictaion with PnkBstrA.exe.
I checked but that file doesn't exsist in my system. When I turn down my PC I get the message that PB did not installed properly and I should reinstal it. When back on I do that and still no joy.

Please help. The only reason why I play on PC is because of PR.

Thanks
Patrick

have a go with that, make sure your firewalls aren't blocking PB processes

Thanks matey. Will try again tonight after changing firewall settings.

Just on the side this. Can this have anything to do with admin permisions on Win7 pro? I installed Stalker game and when asked I gave the permission to allow the access. When I tried to play it said I need to start the program as and administrator first. I checked but the only login on my PC is the administrator login. How can I change that if there is a problem?
