Hi,
I'downloaded the BF2 map editor here:
Battlefield 2 Editor 1.3 Download, Battlefield 1943 Tools
and on several other sites.
But when I try to install the tools it give me this: Battlefield 2 editor can only be installed on windows XP
I wondered if anybody knows the answer for the problem, I have looked on several forums and tutorial
Bf Games And Editor In Windows 7 - Official BF Editor Forums
How To Get The Bf2 Editor Working With Vista - Official BF Editor Forums
and more
thanks for reading.

hi mate, you need to upload that picture to a picture service like imageshack.us or photobucket or whatever.
what is your operating system?
usually problems with the editor are fixed by right clicking the .exe and selecting compatibility and selecting windows xp.
turning UAC off, or running as admin helps too.

As Rudd briefly mentioned, you need to:
right click on the installer file
click properties
click on the compatibility tab
check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
then use the drop down menu to choose "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" or "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)"

Right-click the Setup Feature click, and then click Compatibility
And highlight and select the Windows XP Service Pack 3 or clicking troubleshooter me it worked
