I've seen the U.S Army use the M249 SAW para but i don't see the Marines using it. Maybe you guys can change it for the Marines?

Ya that's the one.Once again i don't see the Marines using paras.

I agree Scout sniper. I haven't seen any documentaries (however scarce) with that, nor pictures, and frankly the stock just looks cooler.

Well I myself haven't seen a U.S Marine with a para until now.But more often I see the using the one with the stock.

i remember the DEVs said they would make one with that kind of stock, dont know where it is though

with a few small modifications thats starting to look like the (maximi) 7.62mm minimi being considered for the ADF (australian defence force)



addon- the maximi is currently deployed with 1&2cdo and is under trial with 2RAR (to my current knowledge) as part of Adaptive Army 2012. it is set to replace the minimi in the manouver section with MAG58's deployed in the MSS.

ADF stands for Australian Defense Force?

The question is a MA needs to confirm if the butt stock M249 is most used standard issue etc. If it is I do believe it should be used in PR though then keep the para or whatever for the Army.

When I was at fleet week in NYC I talked to some infantry marines about the Para M249. Word was they're coming through the pipe, deployed units are getting them first.

I'm going to close this, as the PR team is already dealing with it.
