Friday 25th and Saturday 26th June kick off 1900 GMT/PRT/UTC/ZULU....

We 're back pushing the boundaries of teamwork, bringing coordination to an uncoordinated (PR) world.

Friday is going to be a night kicking back on the Yacht, chilling on the beaches with an occasional helicopter sightseeing trip to take in the local scenery and meet the friendly welcoming locals, all this whilst chatting to your fellow passengers courtesy of Mumble.

Saturday is hot, damn hot bring much liquid refreshments and get ready to sweat.

Fridays sunbathing itinerary

Skirmish one channel fun
Beruit 64(after last weeks chaos Russia will be Team 1)
Barracuda 64
Muttrah 64
Jabal 64
Al Basrah (yes I know but you could be on the beach couldn't you?)

Will the IDF be successful once again pushing the Russians back into the sea, or have the ex communists learnt their lesson to reinforce and hold on to their first sunbeds with all their deployables?

Old Barracuda boils down to the facts, will the attack Huey stay up? Will the Asians get those TOW's up quick enough to fend of the imperialist LAV's?

Muttrah: Last weeks interesting stalemate across the gas station road was forcing both sides to employ 'interesting' tactics involving side pincers and risky heli SF style insertions, what can we look forward too this time.

For the rest its down to you....

Sunny Saturday (26th 1900GMT/PRT)

Some skirmish silliness
Fallujah (US on channel 1)
Kashan 32
Asad Khal 64
Al Basrah
Jabal 64

Ahhh Fallujah, will the US SL's finally get into the swing of Mumble and get a 'huddle' together at main and use their powerful armour as god (ex-president Bush) intended, or will impatience bring them once more to a slow realisation that full co-ordination is the only way to oil revenues (oops I meant victory).

Last weeks Kashan was a model of dull, boring but effective tactics from MEC, it wasn't their fault the CO was baaad. The tanks covered infantry, it took five tanks covering one infantry squad before they found the bravery to advance, as it was a new SL we'll forgive him this time, name given for £$€.

We know what to do, get on Mumble and use those heavy assets, don't attack sit down chill out get the sun cream out and let the CAS do their stuff, and don't start me on about those lazy armour units in their expensive airconditioned vehicles (they call infantry squishies too the scum), get them to do your fighting for, just roll in afterwards nick the juicy kits liberate the tasty rations and retire.

Our website is: Alpha Project - A Mumble Community

X fire group: The Alpha-Project

We use PR 0.5 Mumble for all the reasons mentioned above is what PR is all about, brings it a whole new level of stress and multitasking.

PR Mumble info here Alpha Project

If you need more help or are uncertain about Mumble there is always some lost souls in the Alpha community Mumble who would be able to help or explain it to you.

We will be running a Skirmish map prior using a single Mumble channel for laughs before the laughing stops (yeah right) and it gets serious on the standard maps.

Get mumble, sort out refreshments and come on for some fun.

Everyone welcome old hands and new mumblers alike.

But something very interesting is in planning mode....

The last 4 events we've done have been a great success, care to explain what you mean? Perhaps in a PM?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this - but a basic set of rules for our server can be found at http://www.alpha-pr.org/rules

I presume you're talking about my screw up with Mumble channels allocation, we have decided and shared info so that after the skirmish on Beirut Russia is team 1?

Otherwise please come to the site and let us know what we can do to improve guys - we are very much a community so we've all gotta help to get some good rounds in.

Register tell us what we can improve...please
