Hej Guys,
I wanted to practice some sniper shooting, however I dont see the bullet holes shows up?
I don't find any option connected to bullet holes. Is there any special config param I should set or it is just how it is? In my settings everything is set to the highest value.
Also to have better experience with the game I would recommend to have some sort of training mode support. For example bullet holes would be visible from 2000 meter ect.
Thanks.

go to main menu, go to cooperative, load up a local or join an internet COOP server, request sniper rifle, shoot at bots.
is bot dead? - you're doing it right
is bot alive? - your doing it wrong
welcome to the forums, the COOP mode is what we use for training now since it gives you moving targets that shoot back

you need effects set to medium to see bullet holes so you should be able to see them but just not from miles away.

On that note, if you need any help with sniping, just PM me and I will be happy to join you as a spotter in a COOP server (so that I could give you some pointers).

Coop is the best way, you can just spawnrape the bots there and also practice shooting at moving targets. No kit request limitations either, so you can get a sniper kit even if you are alone in the squad.
And they can only engage you up to a couple of hundred meters, so if you are far enough, they won't shoot back.
If you insist on local though you can see the bullet impacts kick off dust, which should give you enough visual cue to adjust your shots.
And when you are done with target practice, make sure you know whats the snipers job really is before going rambo on a live server

Lot easier to practice target shooting with spotter who has binoculars.
