Hello eveybody, i'm new to this fourm and project reality but i think it is a fab game. I have downloaded the game and yes i do have bf2 but don't know where to save the pr mode... please help

hi mate, download PR part 1 and 2, make sure you've updated bf2 to 1.5 and just run the installer files and it'll put everything where its meant to be.

So, when you've got Battlefield 2 installed, run Battlefield 2 v1.41 patch, then run Battlefield 2 v1.5 patch, you can then install Project Reality.
You'd be grabbing the v0.917 Full installer, both part 1 and part 2. When you download this, you can save the ".exe" installers to wherever you want, such as your desktop, your downloads folder, wherever you want.
When you run Project Reality Full Part 1 of 2, just follow the instructions given. You get to the prompt asking you where to install, the installer should auto-detect where it needs to install to, so you shouldn't need to change a thing. If for whatever reason it doesn't detect it, you will need to select your root Battlefield 2 directory. By default, this is something like:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2
If you've installed BF2 to a different location than default, then obviously this would change. So if you installed Battlefield 2 to D:\Games\Battlefield 2, then that is your root Battlefield 2 directory, and the PR installer should auto-detect that and have that already in the install location prompt.
Basically, you need to install Project Reality to the folder in which "bf2.exe" resides. Do that, and all will be good . Project Reality will then automatically install to a subfolder in that directory, the "mods/pr" subfolder.
Once you've installed Project Reality Full Part 1 of 2, then you install Project Reality Full Part 2 of 2, and the location will be the same as the previous location in which you just installed part 1 of 2 in the install location prompt, which is where you need to install it to.
When that's done, you'll get some icons on your desktop, and some icons in your start menu under "Project Reality". Just run "Project Reality 0917" and it'll launch the game .
