I Think i need a new proccesser for my computer, but i dont Really know what the specs i would need to have would be.
Really, i just need to upgrade my computer... so ya...

I assume you bought your computer online or at a store near you, is it possible we could get an online store page to gather info about your computer?

If your mobo is over 5 years old, then the chances are that
you will not be able to run the newest components on it.
Check out a website called 'Tom's Hardware'
Do your research, there are quite a few pre-built/custom build
on-line stores out there. If you are not very hardware literate
(like me) then this might be the best route for you.
You can expect to pay anywhere between €450 - €900
for a reasonable modern system...
You do NOT have to buy the most expensive components out there to
have a good gaming machine!
If you want to share your specs. Right Click the 'My Computer' icon
and select properties copy or take a screen shot and post.
Have Fun and Good Luck

ok.. first of all, i just learned that my processes might be soldered down...so i got to look for my processer XD and find out if its soldered down or not... (ill do that later) and that would mean i need a new motherboard... right?
Also- just to make sure thats a processor i need, Everything except my video card and power supply is 5 years old, but it was good back then....
For stuff like game loading speed (it still takes me a few minutes to load into BF2) Would it be RAM or the processor?
Here are my specs. (with just a random game from CAn You Run It.)
And Device manager(stupid photobucket made it harder to read =/...)
And here is my computer inside (i grabed one after i last upgraded it)(click to enlarge)
Also, i got the computer handed down not long ago, and all i know is my mom bought a dell XPS from dell, and its had its problems from day 1....

If you want to upgrade then I believe you are still looking at a new Mobo
