Just a question, what is the maximum amount of time the game allows for a person to return to the map after going off it, eg when they are in a jet

it differs - or at least should - for jets and choppers its 30 seconds, for infantry and vehicles its 10. thats just personal experience, not sure facts...

The out of bounds on Barracuda is many minutes so choppers can go wide around the island and come in from multiple angles. Kashan was upped to multiple minutes in a recent release. Infantry/land vehicle only maps like Fool's Road will have a short out of bounds.

The variations are to accommodate air assets that need more room.

On some maps the timer is different for passengers and the pilot... dropping off 6 dead bodies was not what i intended to do. Is this for all maps?

Not to hijack your thread, but whats the maximum altitude you can fly until you go out of the ceiling and lose all control?

As far as the jets, it is 5000, but it seems a lot lower because if you breach it at any significant speed or angle, you might as well kiss your *** good by, as you will quickly lose control.

lol i remember encountering that for the first time in vanilla, was so confused XD on another note though i quickly learned how to get out of it. you just hyave to use the afterburners in short bursts at timed intervals as you are pointing away from the direction you are being thrown, or pointed downwards. not so sure about PR though.

back on topic however, i noted as infantry more often then not you only get like 3-5 seconds before you start getting hurt. I also personally believe that besides the map edges and DoD over mains, there should be no out of bounds zones. i know they're used to keep the fight in one area, but it really limit's maneuvers.
