What exactly dose LEET ( or 1337 ) mean?

Elite.

As in, 'damn, I'm so l33t I could kill <object> with <weapon>'

Its also the designation for the 1337 language, IE '/\/\Y N4m3 15 d74c5'

1337 is the short version of the word 31337 (Eleet) which is a kind of hacker speak, or at least used to be.
