Grr this bugs me, spent tons of time on the training/coop server mastering the helos, only to find out the hard way that they control NOTHING like on the regular deployment servers. Why is this?

Probably gonna be ninja'ed but...

The settings for the helo handling in the coop servers are different so the AI can control them as well. The AI simply can't handle the control settings that are used in PR so some of the helos and jets are nerfed down. You can still find the some with the real PR settings on the coop servers though.

Well the huey and blackhawk are alot faster in deployment mode, which isnt a huge deal. But the controls in general seem alot more sensitive. Also, when hitting the back/down button, the nose climbs much quicker than on the training server, causing you to basically do a backflip and crash. And I have also found that on the deployment servers, if the ground is not perfectly flat, I usually tip right over, where as in training it can also tip but not as easily, and turning the helo facing the slope upwards usually stables it just fine. But was just embarresing going to a real server, people saying "can you fly" and im like YEA!! And then crashing a whole squad on a simple routine easy flight/landing. Ill just have to find an empty deploy server to practice on.

This. Huey and blackhawks are way slower in CO-OP

How do you fix this?

Instead of loading coop, create a local multiplayer server and set a password. join a squad, request a pilot kit and have fun.

For Hueys, load Muttrah as you get four, for blackhawks use Jabal because there are three and so on. If you run out of choppers, restart.

Those were removed and replaced by an integrated COOP mode instead.
Mostly because people would just spawncamp, and just use it as an "Arcade" mode, instead of actually "training."

I remember going after tanks while sitting on the sides of a transport littlebird with a HAT kit.

I tried flying the Huey upside down in COOP (easy in Deployment), It didn't go well.

It's not as different as the bot-friendly jets on Kashan though. Which have crazy agility, lift and different weapon loadouts.

Lol, just in case someone hacks into your LAN somehow with PR installed and starts griefing.

Which could of been resolved by nerfing the Opfor, as opposed to removing the mode completely.

In addition to using collision mesh's over the infantry areas to prevent them being raped by vehicles.

Giving the Opfor single-crewed AA tanks just attracts players who want to shoot down a bunch of easy targets without using teamwork.
