New FOB

After watching this movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2hnXgrn ... ature=fvwp I come out with idea of new fob. The fob that we know is too mutch known to everyone and is just boring image. My suggestion is to refresh the fob.


I found something like this:

I suggest to make this bit bigger [as it stands on ground] and put the spawn in side.

I also taught of removing wire from the traps, and editing tank traps. http://www.badnessaka.co.uk/utah3.jpg as on the picture, about 10 tank traps spread randomly over X size area.

I also taught of editing HMG, divide it to two type of HMG. One would be Tower HMG similar to this: http://screenshot.xfire.com/s/100638300-3.jpg and the other one would be ground HMG looking exacly the same but is lower...

I want to change those things because 'Firebase' should be used to spawn and as a point of defence. Now in PR none of the fobs are points of defence [as players set them] because this fob that we have now is easy to hide and this shoulnt happend - so Firebase or Combat Outpost should be point of defence or point of fire support.

that pic you've found look a few releases old, and it's from a tester. so the testers must've thought through this and decided that the fob(s) we have to today is simply the best.

EDIT: my point: if it's good and not in PR there's reason for it.

The picture shows a bunker. It was a feature in the older versions of PR; separate from the FOBs.

This has been brought up a few times, both in and outside of the team. The main problem afaik is creating a model that accomplishes everything required of it, and as this is especially low priority is not likely to be seen. The bunkers were present in PR up until the 0.85 release when they were removed. If you feel up to making it then i'm sure it could be considered ;)
