[?] How to Change the Server Graphic?

I've been away from modding for over 3 years and now getting back into things, so I'm still cloudy on stuff and my collection of printed out tutorials and info long ago got recycled!

So far, I've found pretty much all the info about changing the map description, menumap, laoding map, etc, but nothing on changing the server graphic that is at the bottom right corner of the map page where an image of the map is a larger image in the top right, above the server graphic.

So, how do you change the server graphic in a mod?

Thanks, but I had done a search in their site and got nothing but unrelated posts, and I did the search using the terms "server graphic". People keep telling me to do a search there but the search function doesn't seem to work right. I never get any related results when I do a search there.

Did a search here too before I posted. So I guess by you sending me to another site there's not an answer here?

I checked that thread, but it's not all the clear to me, but I guess it's an answer. So if I understand what they are saying, the image must be hosted somewhere and a URL is used so the image will display? Won't it display by simply making a "mod.con" image to put where it is in the bf2? It's in the same place as the objects_client and mod_icon.png and others.

To make sure I'm clear on what I'm talking about, it's the lower right sig-looking image on the Map Briefing page, under the larger image of the map, and the caption above the box says "Server Graphic".

When I look at the mod folder, I find the Settings folder, but it doesn't have the same files as bf2 does, in fact it only has a "usersettings.con" and a "controls.con" and two folders: "Default" and "Profiles".

Should I copy the bf2 "Settings" folder to the mod, replacing what the mod has now? This would give what I think that other thread is talking about. There is a "Profiles" folder in "Settings" folder, but there is no "serversettings.con" file there in the "Profiles" folder. Does one need to be placed there?

Sorry, I've not done this stuff before, and apparently my search function is useless. But if I don't ask questions in these type forums, where else can one find the answers?

Modding bf2 is like golf! It's the most frustrating thing ever to do, but one successful shot can make the day.

the server graphic is possible on every dedicated server with vbf2
to have it on LAN Mode you need to modify your bf2 files which will get you kicked on online servers

how to have it in lan mode is explained in the tut i posted above

I see, well then, I'm just making a mod to run on an unranked server for my clan, no LAN desired. I'm not wanting to place a graphic for a ranked server. This is for my mod, not a vanilla bf2 server. Am I missing something?

I should clarify that I meant that the new mod.png be placed in the mod folder, in the same place as in bf2. I did not mean to say to put the image in the bf2 folder.
