Hello everyone!

My question is simple: what is the maximum amount of ping i must have to have a nice gameplay? Mine stays always in 200 350 but thats not my internet is becouse i live in brazil and is prety far from the locations of the servers!

with this ping i can play with you guys?

With 350 ping you'll be lucky if the server doesn't auto-kick you. Plus you should lead your target about 20 feet lol.

250 is about the top for smooth gameplay.

Just so you know, there is a pretty large Brazilian community in PR, they even is a Brazilian server, so I suggest playing there if you want to have good ping.

Yes there is a brazilian community but the server is never full always with 12\30 players tops!

i want to play a game this large in a full server! there is something i can do to solve this?

the best is to play in southamerican servers. for me, a ping under 100 is ok , 100-150 becomes tricky and above its unplayble.
i hope there will be better internet lines in the future so this will improve.

hardcore server and TG mgiht be your best best as they are north American:
-avoid austrailian servers cuz they're million miles away, well for me anyway might wnna try just to see for yourself
- the pings you see on the deployment screen are not accurate eg. on UK server i see 120-150 ping on deployment but get 46 in game ish.

I play with a pretty high ping myself on TG, so you should definitely be fine with 200 ~ 250.

Needs to be under 150 for me, but quality of connection is also a big factor with ping.

Since I'm part of a UK clan, I consistently play with 300-400 ping, and I don't have much problems with gameplay. Most of my lag comes from outdated hardware, but for you lag shouldn't be a big problem.

Yeah mate upwards of 200 is generally playable with few issues as I am in the mountain west and american servers ping about 70-80 for me, but then I go to UK servers ping about 180 and don't have lag issues or anything really. 300 yeah your gonna have serious lag issues if the servers don't kick you so try to get in servers that ping you 200 max if thats the best you can do. Even 250 but your going to have some lag it could be frustrating but possibly playable.

On PR lag and stuttering amount to pretty much the same thing. (going slowly)

until 100 i can play... I live in Brazil too and in Hardcore insurgency, TAR Texas and Virginia Mutrah city 24/7 my ping is about 250 and sometime it kill me

I only play infantry in servers with 100 or under. Too much dust otherwise...

If you shoot someone on your (client) side but the server does not register it; a bit of dust pops up in BF2.

I find 250ish playable, and I can shoot people just fine.
