Hi dudes, the other day I was thinkin about a past versions where you can acces to a PR server ejecuting BF2.exe ... and when you where in you can play PR but without the restrictions it has... its like you where playing BF2 in a PR server.

I know that now when you try to enter to a PR server with the BF2.exe a msg box tells you that you cant, but, theres a way that this was possible ????

Hey LetsRock, in did, in pasts versions it was possible, it was a bug but it was fixed, i dont know if someone with knoledge could be able to achieve this by making some tweks and over pass the PR security for this.

i dont know if Punkbuster would be able to detect this kind of modification. Anyone? Txs in advance.

Yes, it's called cheating tho.
You can play on the PR co-op servers as many of the restrictions are lifted for this game type.

Remember the restrictions are to promote team-play and reduce assets from being wasted.

I play PR for a couple of years by now, i know everything i need to know abot teamplay.

My question was pointin if theres a way somebody can pass that bug and join a game... and play it like it was bf2... if theres a way to do it.

If it is pausible then PB wont detect it ...

In other way, the mods guantaree that this can't happen ?
