i used to have a slow bad p.c with graphic card GT 240 DDR 5 now i got new p.c with

Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Hard Drive: 910 GB Total
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 ( DDR 3 )
Sound Card: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100226-1909)
Motherboard: EP45T-UD3LR

but i run most of games on lower graphic and the games lag like hell , the proccesor is good cuse i dont have any more low fps in bf2 pr so what about the graphic card? is it bad ? if its bad what should i get? plz help

Your GPU isn't bad at all honestly.... a ton better than mine and I run at medium with no issues, my CPU is also a ton worse... and I have less ram.

Do you have the latest drivers? Have you done a malware scan recently?

Are you able to run other games at a decent detail level or do you think it might be a PR/BF2 issue?

Your hardware is quite nice, I think you have a different problem.

ISP? alot of causes could just be traffic from ur exchange?

I remember when that card came out and people were trying to grab them up to run Quad SLI. BF2 back then was still considered a graphics hog. This card, however, is beyond 4 years old and you should probably replace it.

The 7950GX2 doesn't even max out vBF2, albeit at a very high resolution.

You can check around the forums for graphic card recommendations. My favorite card to recommend for people on a budget is the 9800GT. You can also look into the HD4770 or HD5770.

Win7 is dx11,your card is dx9 (directX).
You can either go back to XP and keep the card or get a dx11 card like 5770
(then 7xxx) or gtx460 (more $$$).DX10 cards (8800gt,4870,etc) will also work a lot better with win7.
