Qwai River, no bleed at all?

So, yesterday I was playing Qwai River on the US Army side. Basically we dominated the whole round, took 2 flags easily and the third one quite easily too. Then we went for their main and managed to get there (and I noticed there was no attack marker on the main, was that a bug?) but we got pushed back. I don't know if we ever started to capture the flag.

Anyway, we held the three flags for the whole round and yet we lost 47-0. Yes we had more casualties (around 50 more deaths but we destroyed a lot of their APCs), mainly because we tried to attack the well fortified PLA main, but is there no bleed on the map?! We should have won.

I think this is stupid, the maps need heavier ticket bleed, especially if all flags excluding enemy main were under our control. It wasn't like this before, was it?

I dont understand really why so few flags have bleeds. Guess it keeps the games longer and gives a bit more freedom to plan things. But yea, when a team got pushed back in to there home-base there should be a punishment like a bleed.

I think bleed needs to be turned up too. On smaller maps, the lack of bleed turns PR into a glorified Team Deathmatch.

yeah the problem with a lack of bleed at the moment is that the team that is victorious tends to end up losing the round simply because they are further spread out to be attacked. Right now the sure fire way to win is just to hold that last flag and let your enemy attack since you've got the fortifications and troop concentration while the enemy has to move across open terrain and in dispersed groups. having lost flags should have a more serious effect on your tickets

i still think ticket loss should be directly linked to each flag. taking a flag gives you 50 tickets losing a flag takes away 100 sort of deal.

I have to agree that some punishment for loosing control points should be added, or a boost for the team controlling many CPs.
Currently I tend to see a lot of looses for the US on Jabal and Qwai when the enemy is defending the last flag
(respectively North Bridge and PLA operation base). This leads to situations in which one team should be loosing (because they control a tiny piece of the map) but is not, because of tickets and easy defense.

I must say though that on most maps the team that is in control of most of the cps also has more tickets.
These 2 seem to be an exception.

A bit off topic, but.. did u guys notice that 50% qwai rounds became a very long and boring stalemate with every faction not being able to cross the river and stay alive for more than 10 mins?

The super increased view distance, TOWs, HMGs with zoom, no rallies and 2/3 places u can cross the river being destructible pretty much ruined this map for me.

If ur trying to assault the other side of the river u will need reinforcements (unless the other team fails much). You cant just swim across and set a rally, u have to cross with a truck and risk getting owned by 2 TOWs, HMGs, APCs, and 2 HATs that will spot you before you even get close to the river. U have a maximum of 3 places u can cross, which are usually being camped/mined/destroyed... too hard, so every1 just guard their side of the river and.. thats it.. sometimes a squad or two swim across to get "zerged" and every1 go back to their HMGs, sniper kits, TOWs and HATs.

(And no I dont want the old rallies back)
