I can play for about 2-3 rounds with no issue but on the 3rd or 4th game, it crashes when changing to another map. It crashes around 80%.

Lowering my settings to medium did not solve this issue... Running on medium or low would not make sense becuase my machine is more than capable to run this game with maxed settings. This is what I have;


Wind XP
Nvidia 750a SLI
AMD Phenom Quad 9650 ~ 2.3
EVGA GeForce GTX260 896mb
4GB DDR2 800 OCZ
Creative X-Fi Sound card
Corsair 400w

I ran the game in windowed mode, and this is the error I get....

Defrag HD. It's recommended to keep 4 gigs free on game disk/HD and 15-20% FREE on system HD
Bump vram (1.5 x real ram= 6144) min&max same
Set the 'affinity'(force the game to run on one cpu or core only) with task-manager.
Run battlefield cleaner to flush out your video cache files.
Try something like 'game booster' see if it helps.

Always check for updates = PB and for system.

Have you tried with only textures on medium? (i know you said you tried medium but that can mean alot of different settings)

Yes, I tried Textures on Medium and didn't work. But like I said, I shouldn't have to run anything except for max settings, I have the stuff to run it.
Funny things is that I didn't have this issue when I had an 8800 GTS 512mb running with an Intel P Dual, and I had max settings.

Pal, I tried everything you suggested except for running the single core. I looked into it but I cannot find how to set it. Also, I don't think it would be a good idea since BF 1.50 is now accessing multiple cores, it would hurt me even more.
But I'm whiling to experiment on anything at this point (don't get dirty ideas ).

Please let me know how to do it, thanks for all ur help bro!

OK, now with .95 it would crash every freaking time at 100%!!!

BUT! I just reinstalled DirectX 9 and it's fixed.

I'd just like to confirm that this worked for me. I'm running Win7 32-bit, with administrator, without XP compatability.
