AIM-63 to insurgents

I am talking about adding the Romanian AIM-63 to the Iraqi Insurgent faction. It would be very easy to model, since it only requires adding another hand grip on the AK 47 in-game. This AK would have the same punch as the AK 47, but it would be more precise on automatic fire because of its hand grip. I believe any person with some experience in 3dmax could model and add that grip to the already made AK-47 model.

It would be realistic to add such model because Romania exported large ammounts of weapons and ammunition to the Middle-East, especially Iraq before 1989. We sold anything from T-55s to AIM-63s to Tokarev pistols.

Not sure what this would add to gameplay, plus why add this instead of any of the other numerous weapons insurgents use. It's just a hand-grip afterall.

As for the matter of actually adding the handgrip, the grip would need to be unimeshed with the current grip to get the smoothing to look good. After that you'd need to unwrap the part, and find some spare space on the UV maps that's not already taken (very difficult if the UVmap was done right). After that it would need to be exported again. Quite a bit of effort for mild aesthetics.

Project Reality, not Project Cool Guns.

Insurgents already have a generic 7.62x39mm Kalashnikov representing the myriad variations on the theme used in real life.

This suggestion adds nothing to the mod.
