Excellent, good to see the process takes a long time so its not really overpowered.

I honestly think this is going to completely change the way people move around. Ie..always moving to avoid hits.

Re-size images so they are 1280x1024 (or widescreen comparable) MAXIMUM resolution when using IMG tags.

Not really my place, but though I'd say something before an [R-Mod] does.

Either way, looks sweet, but also looks very vulnerable.

Altough its very cool, Im surprised people in this thread havent talked about how hard its going to be? Its also a shame you can also us it in, in squad. Would be cooler if theres fighting going on around the FOB and another squad requests in a mortar round. Ofcourse this might be doable when you have the other squads on Vent, TS or Mumble but still :) I believe in FH2 you get to see a box on your screen when someone else requests it in showing you where the target may be.

Its a very realistic addition but Im not sure we can experience good fire support in every round because its so hard.

Just tested it then in coop, doesn't seem to actually work. I thought it did because people were saying that's how you reload TOWs when they were introduced. Maybe it's supposed to but it's bugged.

It is not, to reload AA/MG/TOW you need to destroy it and shovel again.

It's actually easy to request mortar support if you're in another squad. Have your SL call in support, then a marker will appear on the map and the mortar crew can set their squad marker onto that map marker.

Is the number of meters that you need to be away to build a FOB from your repair station/commander vehicle going to change at all?
Other questions:
  • How many rounds per type of ammunition?
  • How many per map/FOB?
  • Minimum distance mortars can shoot?
  • Will this completely replace area attack on some maps?
  • Will all factions have deployable mortars or just 'BluFor'?

All that will be covered in separate update/release news/tutorial.
If you managed to sneak up outdated video, doesn't mean we will give out all info at once ;-)
