Remove the fencing around airstrip in Kashan,

There's really no use for it and a lot of the time pilots will barely nick it and explode.

usually you can try to not hit it by using after burners,
but it would be nice to extend it a little =D

true, there is little point in them on that map, also to stop yourself from hitting it, jump out of the plane and it stops right away.

there is a point of them being on that map i think, realism. you wouldn't leave that airfield to the enemies right? that's why there's a wall. (:roll :) to stop the hordes of the enemies,,,

but an extention, idk, i'm not the flyer :-P

Or at least remove the concertina wire on the HESCO barriers on the end of the runway because most of the time pilots clip the wire with the landing gear and it blows up.

If people would learn to practice landing PROPERLY, NOONE would have that problem.

The runways are too short for realistic landings.

They also wouldn't make an airfield next to the enemy.

It's fine as it is. I've never. Ever. Had a problem with it, and I'm a trash pilot at best.

And make the runway at the same level of the ground, and
larger. Once i was landing with the eurofighter,
and there was a soldier in the middle of the runway for
some reason... and i tryed to not hit him, i went off
the runway, when i tryed to get back for re-arming, the
aircraft just started jumping and doing some crazy moves
and exploded.... there was no ramp for the runway, it's straight...

Are you sure about this? As far as I know all wire can be passed through by vehicles. The wire around the MEC main on Jabal specifically.

I think it only has a collision mesh for infantry.

I'm pretty sure the concertina wire, the circly ones lol, can be clipped because I've landed and I know that I wasn't low enough to hit the HESCO barriers but only the wire and I blew up. The concertina wire on the ground on the Jabal base is a different wire than the wire on the HESCO's at Kashan.

I agree with this. I almost always clip the fence/wire with my landing gear just barely which blows me up. If you're not going to remove it, at least extend it further.

I see absolutely no problem with it. Just because you can't land right doesn't mean the DEV's need to compensate for you.

Silent Eagle was an exception

The landing strip is already unrealistically short and way to close to the enemy base.

LMAO....

This is a joke request...surely!

If you are clipping the fence at the end of the run way your take off/approach is way too low!

It's a tricky skill to master, but should not present any problems after practice.

The fences in PR provide at least 2 solutions to PLAYER problems

1. Tanks and other vehicles that spawn inside the compound are not able to exist
anywhere except the main gate, thus avoding hoards of people driving ALL over the runway
to take a short cut and helping prevent collisions!

2. Players trying taxi a jet out of the compound and leaving it somwhere obscure.

:)

This is not a matter of skill level in an aircraft. there's a reason why airstrips in real life are so long. currently in PR every take off would have to be exactly the same every time in order for you to make it out with a comfortable distance between you and the wire. otherwise you get too close to it regardless of skill, you've got about 10% chance of clipping the wire on take off. On landing it can be upwards of 30% since it's only maybe a 3 meter difference between a good landing and your jet being a burned wreck at the other end, so some people may put her down a bit too low. it's also hard to control your airspeed, if you're going to bring that up to avoid hitting the end wall on landing, if you're flying keyboard. a pilot should not have to worry about dropping like a rock or smashing into a wall with a slight airspeed difference.

the barrier should surely not be removed but either be made lower or moved further back.

Wait... what?

The wire on Kashan's HESCO barriers hasn't had a vehicle collision mesh since like 0.8

okay i know it isn't that hard to alnd planes on it but sometimes its just like.... okay why is the runway so close to a wall and B why is it so short, also i belive the lengh of the runway could be increased because there is a lot of room to make it about anoth 20-30 meters bigger, and btw yes i can land a jet properly its just hard when you havn't got a joystick.

Sorry for the necro but I'm grumpy.

My god you people are freakin' rediculous... It takes a certain amount of skill to even take off in a PR jet let alone fly it. Take off's do NOT have to be exactly the same. It's called PRACTICING IN A CO-OP SERVER. Also, learn to pull back on the stick half way down the runway, add some afterburner, and you WILL NOT hit the wire. With landings it's obviously harder but it's simple as taking a breath once you get it down.

Also, watch the following video before you noob pilots piss anyone else off in-game.
