Just now I saw that the suggestion of putting MGs on the Logi trucks was locked because it was already suggested.

However the link that Jigsaw gave to the previous thread showed that it was from over 2 years ago!

Surely suggestions like this should not be locked because they have been already suggested? After all since 2008 there have been numerous new releases etc which change gameplay meaning a bad suggestion from 3 years ago might be quite a good one now...

Fair enough they may be permanently bad suggestions and for one I don't agree with putting MGs on trucks but surely after a 2 year gap it should be ok to at least discuss it again?

it would also be very unrealistic putting them on there. can you find some facts that MOST logistic trucks have a mounted MG?

well in that case they should search, find the thread, ask a mod to open it as they have more to add.

pretty much.

though there are different criteria to doing it.

you will need to back up why, if it is realist and originally thought to be "hardcoded" but you have proof of a means to do it then sure.

Yeah I think we decided on not adding that MG and working with teamwork to create convoys and protecting it?

Why dont you set up a convoy around such an important asset. Give it protection?

Edit: I have a question. I have a reformulation of a suggestion but I don't want to make a thread about it because it will be locked. Can I PM a MOD or DEV with it? I have pictures of proof and stuff.

Go ahead and shoot me a pm, though I can't guarantee anything.

Already suggested suggestions are just that, regardless of how long ago it was brought up. With regards to the specific thread in question I could also include the caveat that we are not accepting suggestions for factions for whom we have an active MA.

As Hitperson says if there is an older thread about it there is nothing wrong with using the older thread.

In future please PM the moderator in question if you have a concern like this.
