Squadleader icons not showing on minimap. Sometimes it's all SLs, sometimes just the squad i'm in.

Steps to Reproduce:
Unknown. Seems totally random and can occur on any map. Reconnecting or loading next map doesn't fix it, only restarting PR.

Just realized that the CO icon is missing too, he is in the truck at H3k3.

Tested On:
Various maps, TacticalGamer.com 0.917

Video Settings (if needed):
All high, 4xAA, GTS250 with latest driver.

I get the same issue with my GTX470. All high, 8xAA.

same here. 9800gtx# all high 1920*1200

same here all low, forgot gfx card name.

Really? I've never gotten this issue AFAICR... I got a GTS250 with half the power supply it needs. What I do get, sometimes, is the VOIP overlay not going away or displaying someone else's name instead of who's speaking... Both on my ol' HD2400 and GTS250...

The problem occurs regardless of graphics or any form of PC specs.

I've had it happen in game to either certain squad leaders or people all together, for example I've had a chopper disappear off the map altogether until someone gets out of it or gets in it.

I think that part is intended, empty vehicles disappear off your minimap if they are further than 600m.
Also if in a vehicle other than the driver seat, you are invisible on the map, same with ladders and ropes sometimes.

I've had this as well, mostly it's just my own SL that disappears though. Another common thing to disappear are the flags, but never the neutral ones.

Used to happen to me alot more, but not so much now. All settings high, textures medium.

Really bad when im squadleader and I cant see myself on the map. This may have someting to do with the issue of invisable minimap flags. Both issues seem to be random and can happen to anybody.

tap tab to fix that
or open up a ingame menu really, but still

Ive also had this glitch happen, all mediem.

This happens to me sometimes too. The flags are also not on the map just the flag name under the where the flags should be and an attack and defend marker.

Oh that happened to me sometimes, but I thought it was you and server related? Especially when you change teams but the server doesn't register?

I meant even with the pilot in it, and the passengers get in or out.

*facepalm* ALT only toggles SL player markers and squad markers. It does not fix this bug.


The bug also removes it permanently unless you restart PR.


This happens for me too, ATI HD4850. It's not just nVidia cards.

Same card, flags dissapeaing, only on TG though, didnt experience it anywhere else.
