Hi

Downloaded pr_0917_full_part1of2_setup, pr_0917_full_part2of2_setup and pr_0909_to_0917_patch_setup.
Installed all successfully and without any problems and errors.
when i triend to start the game, it wouldn't work. So i followed a old guide on the forum (Sticky: Read This If You Have Pr.exe problems)
Picture: First issue.

Then i did everything that was explained, after that i started the game as Administrator and it finaly started.
When intro and login came the resolution was wrong and it wasn't anything wrong with the settings, looked like it was windowed with a black background. Anway, it work until i tried to play singelplayer or create game. The game suddenly carshed and stopped working. And now i don't have any idea what's wrong or what i should do.

That patch isn't needed when installing with the FULL 0917 part 1 & 2

Installation timeline

1. Install BF2
-----------------
BF2:SF Expansion | --- If you have BF2:SF, here is where it should be installed.
----------------
2. Install Battlefield 2 v1.41
3. Install Battlefield 2 v1.5
4. Install the latest PR Build (Currently: v0.917 part 1 & 2)

Didnæt work dude

I have the same problem. BF2 works yet when i went to start PR it crashed right at the start up. just installed windows 7. Just installed bf2 and the two updates. then both pr updates. I really hope i get this working. I love this game way to much. Thanks for any idea's i'll be working on it.

Okay! I got it working. I was reading around on the forum and found some info that made me think. i'm not going to get into it right now. give me your email and i can try to help. I can help you out on vent or teamspeak. So i uninstalled pr and bf2. then reinstalled Bf2 to "C:\Games\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2" started bf2 without the updates logged in with my account. then logged out and quit. then installed the bf2 updates. then installed pr patch 1 and 2. and it worked. sorry if you don't understand what i just said. i'm 1/2 in the bag. but it's working so far. willing to help anyone. I am running windows 7 64bit fresh install 7 hours ago.

I'm having a similar problem on windows 7 64 bit. When I launch pr the logo shows up for a little, then nothing. Just back to desktop.
