Ok Guys,

I think I have found what I will be getting to upgrade my computer. I need to know if every thing will run smoothly and that they will all work and I will not need to bring my computer in to my computer Techs.

Next Upgraded Specs (Soon To Be):
Motherboard: EVGA LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI ATX
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 Yorkfield 2.66GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core
GPU: PNY GeForce GTX 470 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP, SLI Ready
PSU: APEVIA 500XSPX 500Watt
RAM: 3 GB Unknown Brand
Case: SIGMA UNICORN UNICORN-WB Black 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower
OS: Windows XP Pro SP3 32-Bit

Questions:
1. Do I have enough Wattage for my Next Upgrade Specs?

OS: Windows XP Pro SP3 32-Bit

Questions:
2. Will the Graphics Card be too long for my case?
3. Will my Future Upgraded Power Supply work with my case?
4. If in the future I wanted to upgrade to Windows 7 are my specs compatible with the 64-bit version. (Will my CPU work I have read some places say Yes as Others say No)

1.Yes.
2. No, you got more than enough space.
3. It should.
4. Yes, just download the right Windows 7 drivers before you install and there you go.

He only has XP so why should he get more Memory. As soon as he updates to Win7 then he can upgrade the RAM as well. Memory isn't expensive nor hard to exchange/add.

Its dont have difference between XP 32-bit and Win 7 32-bit OS, if the question is about RAM. 32-bit OS knows only 3,5 GB of RAM. No matter what, if you have installed 8 GB. If you want use more than 3,5 GB, install the XP 64-bit or Win 7 64-bit version. But the prob is with 64-bit version. Sometimes its hard to get drivers. And some programs have prob with 64-bit version.

P.S. Better get new i7 or i5. The LGA 755 is getting old . And your system is power full at this time to.

If you get the Professional it is multi-compliant (It will run x32 only stuff as for it will run it in x32 mode)

That is thought for the future I would lave to but my Computer is only 3years old and the cost of a new motherbaord a new cpu a new case new psu new gpu thats a brand new computer (and $1200+ That I dont have)

Hmph I liked my case any recommendations on cases (ps I like LIGHTS!!!)

The thing is you guys is cost sure I would Love to have window 7 x64 ($300) and an i7 ($500) and 8GB of RAM ($100) and an 480 GTX ($350) and a 1200 WATT PSU ($320) and a 42' 1080P as a Monitor ($600) But as a 15year old I cant spend $1200+ on something thats is still considered 'New' and I am 15 I don't make 100k a year (yet...) although the 470GTX and 780i are 2 New Things that is really all I need (Ram can get upgraded at any time) Since I OWN my Q9450 I will keep it its is the most cost effective rout (Truthfully all I NEED is a new motherboard, but since my 8800GTX is now 'Old' I will get a new one that will last me 3-5 years) Do you see my point

No mate I meant NO you DON'T need a new case. The 470GTX should fit perfectly (I have 480GTX and fits in Mid-Tower with Asus Rampage III Extreme)

Too lazy to read eh?? Yes it will work, as already said you only have to download the Windows 7 drivers before installing it.
