Hello ppl,
Can anyone tell me what is going on with the PR servers? I got all kind of issues including crashing to welcome screen while I'm loading, CTD within 5 seconds after joining the server, etc. And I keep getting this message: "There was an error reading from the server". I've search the whole internet for an workaround but everybody is quiet, including EA, BSS and players. What the hell is happening here? Is not just me having this problem but o lot of my clan mates. Everybody is desperately trying all kind of settings on the firewall, punkbuster, internet connection, etc. Nothing doesnt seem to work. I heard some rumors about EA servers being hacked trough an Xbox and stuff. Please help me with an answer. I just lost almost two hours trying to connect to the server while ppl were mourning in Ventrilo.

Have you tried clearing cache folder?

EDIT:lol, i have the same problem.

Gamespy appear to be having issues still after their server move. Should hopefully be cleared up soon.

I'm having the same problems.

It's really annoying. I can't connect to a server whatsoever.

Get disconnected and even logged out after each round

I did. Still not working

It's an issue with GameSpy and the BF2 master server(s). Nothing we or the PR team can do anything about.

OK, I understand that. But some of can still play properly. The rest is crying on the keyboard. Do you have an estimated time for fixing this? Why there is no official announcement from EA or Gamespy? Or you DEVs? This silence is panicking the community.

The PR DEVs have no control over Gamespy or EA and we can not fix it.

Everyone has this. Its not up to us. So lets just wait and hope its fixed. Deffinately happened after the server move thing.

I wish PR DEVs had control over Gamespy and EA.. They should have.

try connecting to a server through IP adress
also i had the problem with CTD after 5 secs ended up reinstalling BF2 such a pain

It's been happening to me on PR, BF2 and 2142.

Tried tech support for shits and giggles.

the guy was pushy. He said he could get me a discount on buying a new CD set.

Clearing ouyt my cache files only helps for one round at best. Still I'm down on the A-game here. Its PR after all

*Wipes sweat off forehead* Glad I wasn't the only one having this issue. I thought it was my fault or something. I can't even get into a co-op match with only myself.

I confirm this error! We are also experiencing it from Australia.

I WANT TO PLAY NAAAOOOW...

man, I hope it works soon again. Everytime I connect to a server I get logged out...
