I have been hoping and hoping for scenario mode so we could have a game mode that allows for a more open-ended fight, but I haven't heard anything about it in a long time...

Has the idea been abandoned? Put on the back burners? Is progress being made?

Convoy is not Scenario, so no

Scenario mode was a free-form game mode where objectives were unique to the scenario, like destroying a bridge. It was announced a long time ago, 0.6 or 0.7 I believe. It was, and I quote, going to be the "Father of all game modes".

Well since we haven't heard anything about it you can only assume it got lost in the tubes.

That's why I posted this.

It shouldnt be so hard to make the basic version of it... i mean, Insurgency is kind of a scenario mode...
