Infantry fighting while mounted to an IFV.

In real life, those in vehicles like the Bradley, and the BMP, can have the guys in the back do something more then just twiddle their thumbs while mounted in the vehicle. They can very often pop a hatch, and shoot out from it.
My suggestion as to implement this, is a rather simple one, I hope.
The way it would work is that each position would have their default periscope position. However, if they switch weapon slots while in the vehicle, they would be transferred to a camera view, in the appropriate position. The player will now expose a certain extent of their body, and be able to employ their weapon with good accuracy from a stop. This would allow a certain level of protection given to the vehicle, since there are more eyes looking out, and more guns sticking out. These soldiers could either be depicted as poking their gun and head out, via a hatch, if the vehicle has it modeled, or they could have the troopers lying prone on the rear area.
