do you need special forces to play/install PR?

No its not needed , but if you do have it owning it will cause no problems.

All you need is BF2 patched to the latest version.

Also, be adviced, if PR doesn't work correctly (randomly disconnects you) these days, it's not your computer. It is probably related to the BF2 main server issues that hopefully will be fixed soon.

Disconnecting after a round to your login screen is resulting from GameSpy having their server moved and somehow, something went wrong.

I've seen you playing on the server before... Do you currently have SF installed?
