Seeing as the PLA gets new weapon models in the coming patch shouldnt they be changed accordingly?

It's not because a country has released a new model of a certain weapon that the entire army will replace these for the old ones. Some soldiers still carry AK's and Chinese modified M16/AR15's.

So quite useless actually..

Actually to be fair sizum is actually onto something that our own devs have noticed.

Since i made my highlight the chinese military has actually released yet another update to their weapons (which is the 4th i believe) So we could change that around and have fully updated weapons, but the updated weapons are not distributed yet and except for some visual changes there really is not any real differences from what i could gather.

And Amir no they don't carry modified ak's and m16's, that is just a western misconception about the chinese military. They might have their old ak47 derived assault rifle for use in national guard units etc. But all active duty personnel have updated weaponry. This is not the case with vehicles though, which is still a huge mix match, with several different vehicles often filling the same roles within the same unit.
