Replace F16 model with F15

There are 2 maps where the f16 is being deployed, if I am not mistaken, Kashan desert and Silent Eagel. Is it possible to introduce the F15 on one of the maps, in case somebody is eager to put out an f-15 model?

No. The F-16 is being replaced with a Eurofighter Typhoon on Silent Eagle.
Also replacing it with an F-15 on kashan would mean a old and outdated bomber HUD which needs some work.
You would need to add a 2 seated fighter bomber for MEC too if you decide to add an F-15 on kashan.
I would however, love to see it on a new map.

The F-15 in vBF2 is the F-15E Strike Eagle which is a two seater Fighter Bomber, not the F-15 your thinking of which is a single seater Air superiority fighter, as such, replacing it with the F-16 which is a Multirole Fighter fighter isn't an option since a Fighter Bomber is far more powerful in the ground attack role and less powerful in the fighter role, unless you want that in a map but then mixing that with an A-10, basically having two ground attack aircraft in the same map isn't such a good idea.

Abit offtopic, but Rhino... Is it hardcoded or would it be possible to create a code that makes it easier for 2 seated aircraft to lock onto lases with a greater distance when using air to ground missiles? Atm they have to dive real low to hit targets with ATGMs

So thats why my Weapon guy wouldnt get a lock. I didnt think I would have to do the stuka. I think it shouldnt be a problem to make it possible to lock at the same distance the a10 can lock their maverick.
I knew the f15E is a fighter/bomber, but the f16 has just 2 jdams strapped on and not a full array of mavericks on top of it. I was kinda hoping there would be a single seater variant of the f15 that can carry 6 missiles and 2 jdams.

Well Cassius, fact is that you dont even have to lock when using ATGM which makes it very vbf2.
If you remember from the original 2 seated jets from vanilla you never actually had to lock to hit with the missile the concept is the same in PR.
You just have to aim the crosshair at the lase and when he is more or less infront of you just hold the LMB in till it hits the target.

This includes both US factions, the British, the IDF, the PLA and the Russians.
Also see Rhino's post.
Putting this in-game would require a new model being made as I doubt the developers would want to replace a perfectly good custom model with an old vBF2 one.
Locked.

Which is also realistic for aircraft to guide there own air to surface weapons onto targets.
