What would be considered a road side bomb in PRBf2? Arty IED or the normal IED? Or will there be some more classes of IED's. Thanks.

Hmm thats weird, whenever I tried to destroy a tank with an arty IED I ended up killing my whole squad and the tank still survived. :S

They should atleast impliment some sort of roadside bomb.

Artillery IEDs work best with multiple roadside placements and a mine to stop the vehicle for the kill. Always make sure the IED area is no where near the Cache cause they can damage vehicles through walls. An underside detonation with an Arty IED on a tank should kill it.

Im thinking of something that would be placed in a ditch somewhere and have it wipe out a vehicle or two. Perhaps a more powerful version of the Arty IED.

a roadside bomb is simply a bomb....on teh roadside it has a broad spectrum of sizes.
in PR you basically have IED and very big IED.
you can acheive different results by using either the IED or arty IED< the smarter amongst you will also get an ammocrate and put the IEDs on top of eachother (more intense explosion) or spread around (wider area of effect)

what I like to do is put a mine in the middle of the road in an obvious place, then put the IED hidden where they would go to avoid it.

This. The above tactic resulted in 3 dead G wagons (10 kills overall), 2 dead LAV-3's, and a severely damaged Chinook.
Its very effective on Archer since the roads are dark, perfect for mines.
Its harder on Fallujah but it is possible since there is so much debris, rubbish and bushes everywhere.

In 0.95 you'll have the power to stage two chains of explosives, making for more complex ambushes.

Awesome now I don't have to waste all ten of my IEDs on a single truck

muuwhahahahahaha i can now finnaly caerry out a firework show with a sapper squad
Road side bombs are bombs on the side of the road, an ARTY IED can take out two soft target (and possibles apcs) and one heavy target (tank/heavy apc).
