Hey guys, first srry for my bad egnlish.


I am not sure if someone had posted somthing exactly like this, but I didnt found any solution in the web.


Ok so here´s the problem:

I am using windows 7 32x and when i am playing PR the game crashes to desktop.
Mostly that happens when the game finished loading the map, or 10-60 sec after playing on the map (i noticed that thats mostly hapenning on insurgency maps).


What i have allready tried:

- using the compatibility mode (maybe i did something wrong...not sure)
- playing with graphic settings (like changing texture detail from high to mid)
- updating punkbuster

Had a similar problem, try deleting your BF2 cache that worked for me

You can find it at my documents\battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache
Delete everything in this map dont worry nothing can actually go wrong

So try this and good luck

you should try play PR in windowed mode that it gives you error report when crashes.

to start PR in windowed mode add this in your PR`s shortcut target line.
+fullscreen 0
so it would be something like this:
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +fullscreen 0

if it give you some error report,take screenshot or something and add it in here...maybe it explain your problem.
and you should also give some info what kind of PC you have

Me too its doing that and this problem has started today.

No error pops up.

I have windows 7 32 bit and Im having the same problems. But only on certain maps, they include Lashkar Valley, Fallujah, and Silent Eagle. The maps will load, and once they hit 100 percent I will crash to desktop. Its really annoying because those are some of my favorite maps.
