This could either be a suggestion or a general discussion. decided this would make more sense.
Its not a real important suggestion but do you think that crewman kit geometries all should have Dust garud bandannas over their faces? Its already a plan for the Australian Forces.

But for Every faction I think it would depict the crewman kit a little more than just a helmet and under performing weapons load out.

I think Crewmen are always in their vehicles, then we dont see them often... A lot of work for a very minor change IMO

In conventional situations (and times of combat) crewmen don't operate outside the vehicle. They are inside operating it as intended, free from dust and debris. Currently there are no places outside any BLUFOR armored vehicle anyway, not including the tanks' cupola gunner.

Also,

We are not accepting equipment suggestions (this includes everything: weapons, gear and vehicles) for any factions for which we have an MA or knowledgeable people within the team.

This includes both US factions, the British, the IDF, the PLA and the Russians.

What you might see as a dust scarf is often a Nomex-type fire retardant balaclava arrangement that has become increasingly common following horrific burn injuries to crewmen. So yes they would wear them while in a vehicle with or without dust requirements.

That looks so badass, every crewman ive seen wears that.

well that pic looks to me to be a turret gunner. and he is probably wearing that neck gator because believe it or not, it gets pretty darn cold in iraq and the stan and that neck gator is probably just to keep him as warm as a turret gunner can be riding out in the open wind in almost freezing temps.
and i agree with midnight....lot of work for something so minor and pointless.

Sure, it might be worn as to keep crewmen warm, but iirc we dont have any winter maps in PR yet. Sure, it might make them look cool, but that usually puts things as a very low priority for devs, if it ever gets accepted that is.

Plus, as Dtacs showed, Dev's arnt accepting suggestions for certain factions. The only factions that would possibly get this have military advisors

Guys... it is just a scarf...anyone can acquire scarves...seriously...there is no need for military advisor or sources for this one.

I say add it to exposed crewmen on the machinegun of tanks...etc.

I like it too, just saying it's not very important and a very low priority change... and it's only visual.

It isn't only visual, a dust scarf in the face would make everyone run away from you.

I would say - next time crewmens kitgeoms/textures are updated, give them a dust scarf, yes, it looks badass, but imo its just too much work for minimal profit.

Tank cupola gunners - used too few times, compared to other players.

m113 gunners - with namer incoming, dont know how many m133 will stay.
