Does anyone know if there is a good DDS plugin for Photoshop CS5?
Els.. someone got a link to a CS4 DDS for me?
I cant skin anymore since my PC died, and I know need too use my Macbook.
I did not yet found any so far..

That plugin doesn't seem too work on CS5.

Nah just didnt seem like it since u didnt say anything about it

I believe I'm using CS4, but it doesn't work on 64-bit for me, however it does on the 32-bit installation, so if there's still a 32-bit installation of PS, try that?

I'm using CS3 on XP x64 (ie, 64bit addition of XP) and plugins are working fine for me.

EDIT: If your having serious problems there is anouther tool: http://developer.nvidia.com/object/texture_tools.html

This tool will save your textures in far better quality than the normal Photoshop DDS plugins and also claims that they are easier to process (most likley are but dunno if they are in relation to the BF2 engine). The problem with these tools thou is they are anything but user friendly, I still can't find out how to tell it how many mipmaps you want to generate, all I can get is all or nothing mipmap wise.

It works with 64bit PS CS5 too. After install plugin , copy the file dds.8bi

from C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Plug-ins\File Formats\
to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Plug-ins\File Formats

When I first installed plugin didnt work. then I figured out, plugin install itself only one of programfiles folder (32bit or 64bit ) but photoshop lookin in other.
