I was just wondering if I will be able to use my old serial key on a new computer if I nolonger play battlefield on the old computer? Thanks!!

you can only use your cd key once, only in 1 installation at a time.

Are you sure? So I cannot use my serial key on another computer if I don't play on the old one? I know this applies to some games, but are you certain it applies to this game?

He's right. One install at a Time... I've tried it before

you have to uninstall the game on your old computer then. that's the point of serial keys.

I think I am explaining myself wrong here, so I will start again. I want to install this on my new computer and play it on that computer. I will not be playing it on my old computer. I am confused though because first you said I cannot play it on my new computer and now you say if I uninstall it from my old? What do I do to play this on my new computer. Thanks!!

you can only use your cd key once. 1 installation at a time. if you want to play your game on a different computer, you have to uninstall it from the old so you can use the cd key again.

How does EA know that I have uninstalled it for my old computer or not? Or do you mean I can only be logged in on one computer at a time?

Uhm not really,

I have BF2 installed on my laptop and on my computer. I can play on both with the same CD key, but i can't play on them at the same time.
