most people seem to say that PR is for near future scenarios most of the time so im wonder if the devs are at all looking into making a UH-Y1 Venom and an AH-1Z Viper and the xm312 .50 cal MG or if anyone is willing to model the XM312 cause i'll give a go at texturing it texturing the choppers however i can't do

I know the XM312 has been discussed before and its role in PR wouldn't be existent as it wouldn't be in widespread deployment as much as the older M2HB would.

But on the UH-1Y, please do, I've actually been wanting to see that helo ingame (as a match for the Army blackhawk since the current N-model is aging). I've been trying to start work on a new Viper model myself for a while, but school and another 3D project haven't allowed me to start yet.

alucard, if you are interested in texturing there are always tasks to be done in that area, PM a red tag or assets manager and you can probably get a test task

meh i've never textured before i've used photoshop for about 4 years though so im sure i could get the hang of it i just wanted a model and a UVW map and give a try at texturing a weapon weapons are much easier to texture then vehicles so i thought i'd give a go at a weapon

No... Its not plaussable, there is no logic in an Russia vs China war (for me that is). Curently in game Western goverments are fighting Russia and China seperatly. It would be close to simple logic for the Russian and Chiniese leaders to join forces againts theire common enemy... In the "what if" scenario this the most logical thing to happen.

you seem to want to push this idea through on multiple fronts, remember they have had tensions in the past and more importantly:
pr isn't very strict in choosing warring countries, i.e. look at beirut: russians fighting idf, idf as opfor.
so almost everything is possible. so if someone was to made a china vs russia map the dev's would probably accept these countries unless their existing assets weren't sufficiently build that a placeholder faction would be chosen for the time being.
