I liked it a lot. But it was awefully small for PR. That might have been one of the cool aspects about it.
But things change

We got a ton of cool maps in now.

I think that there was a community mapper that was makin EJOD v2... From witch posted some screens like "Oh, BTW" in his other map in Comm Maps forum. Gonna try and find it/confirm it.

Get permission from the original mapper and then you can Audit the map and bring it out as as a custom download map or even in a map pack. If its is good enough quality and to PR standards we may even endorse it.

well im taking on trying to do texturing not really the time to start trying to become a mapper ;P however if i had to make a map i'd make a ground assault carrier map that was big enough to use the AV-8 mainly because i want to see the harrier in a map and i want a ground assault map with AAV7's mwahahaha so my question is why was it taken out of .9 what was wrong with it? why wasn't it up to standards with .9?

just look at the map...
its mostly nothing, resulting in alot of it being cut out via combat areas so that the actually interesting areas are fought over, its the same gameplay over and over and over and over and over.
it lived in a time where combat distances were shorter and enterable statics were few, those days have passed and it needs to move with them or be moved out.
I enjoyed EJOD, I really really did, but it just got outgrown, there is limited space in the installers, and maps that we consider to be below par are removed to keep the space reasonable.

so basically what your say is its to small so if someone were to revamp it and make it bigger and have more things to fight over it might be considered to rejoin the PR pack if its endorsed correct?

Yes. Assuming you go through the proper procedure for auditing maps etc, and bring it up to .9 standard, it could be considered for PR. I personally think that anyone who wants to audit maps might as well just create their own from scratch rather than work themself into a box by auditing, but to each his own.

yup... take a look at jabal 2 and Al Basrah 2... Jabal was expaned to an 4km map, wille Basrah its still 2km, but it has 2 more VCP, more vegettation around the rivers, a few more buildings here and there, new faction, and new lightmaps.
Thats the kinda work that EJOD needs...

Iron, Basrah v2 is not an endorsed map, and frankly I am not a fan of it.

Jabal 2 is really good. but Basrah 2 is just meh. If you redo a map you redo it thoroughly, like Op Archer was.

I kinda liked Basrah 2, but imo Basrah 1.5 would be a more appropriate name as it mostly fixes some minor things.
