I only recognize this failure from not correctly plugging in a VGA cable/broken VGA cable.
- make sure its not an overheating issue - check your temps.
- check your hardware for visible defects: e.g. bloated and/or rusty capacitors
- try a different PCI-E slot for the gfx card - maybe only one slot is defect
Check if its a software fault: make a screenshot, have your friend display it on his pc - see if it looks alright.
