I was at a friends house a few days ago. I took my PC to him and used his monitor. Project reality worked fine.
Im now back home using my own monitor which is 1680x1050 and his monitor was 1920 x 1080 I think.
When I click at the pr.exe the project reality flash screen pops up, my monitor turns black but then instead of starting the game it gets me back to desktop.

did u try changing your desktop resolution and then trying to access pr.exe ?

Yes didnt work.

I also noticed after my screen got black the icons on my desktop are in another order than before maybe this is a hint.
Any ideas I dont really want to redownload all patches and reinstall the game.

Change the resolution and Hz in the video.con to values your monitor supports. (Some monitors need 59Hz)

Thank you so much. I noticed in two of the video.con files the resolution was set to 1920x1200. I set it back to 1680x1050 and now it works again.
Now im ready for 0.95!

Guys it did not worked for me.
My screen is 1920x1080 and the settings were the same but i changed them to 1280x720
and still when i open PR it goes black screen flashes and then exits to desktop any HELP?
