ya so , i lag, no the connection problem lag or the ping , i got 200ping + and on u.s servers 320 max , any way i get the lag like when u move left or forward most of times i lag and like i kinda push my self , like some body is pushing u while ur moving , going back to the same spot and its a pain in the *** while aiming , i got 4 gb rams the new GTX 470 graphic card from nvidia cordue 2 12mz proccesore , i can run arma 2 on the highest with no lag so its not graphic , and i play other games online and i dont get lag like that so its from the game , some times my ping my jump from like 100 to 130 cuse i got wireless broadband router but , before that my ping used to jump like 100 to 600 when i had a crapy internet but i dont get this kind of lag i only notice it after it stays on 600 for 5 sec , and then i might get connection problem or like aim then aim back , that kind so plz help me cuse i saw alot of people having lag threads

Appearently you have already searched the forums... what have you tried - what didnt work, so we don't resuggest and get a better picture?

First thing that comes to mind is this might be the wireless connection. For testing purposes I suggest hooking up a LAN-Cable to rule that out.
Don't be downloading and/or uploading when you want to play.

when u play dont let anyone else use internet in your house... (any person doing anything on ur internet connection will create a lag spike)

Awesome , didnt know admins can know what i searched about but cool , i wasnt even loged in xD , any way the router is wireless but i connect it with a wire to the p.c its like hmm , the router ricieves connection from an internet tower that sends wireless signals then my router connects back the might add me 20 or 40 ping but any way , all the searchs that i looked in didnt match mine its always high ping but i only saw one wich matched and a guy adviced him to download game booster ( didnt work for me )

Could be from what ive seen, your in Egypt and your trying to play on a US server..... maybe your running PR to high, and then playing on a US server.

I never play on UK servers

ok that is realy fast while i was typing a reply another replyed cool , no one is using my internet , and i changed from wep wireless into tksa somethin like that cuse wep might be hacked and i was hacked once and have password so ya , no one is using the connection and again its not from the ping i had higher pings before and this problem didnt happen other problems caused by ping but not this thx for the fast reply

what are your settings at?

i tried every thing , disabling eax, disabling voip , changing sound quality , changing graphic quality into diffrent things none worked :S

What's your framerate when having those issues?

Open up the console (press ~) and type: renderer.drawfps 1
This will display your fps in the topleft corner. If it's below 25, it's obvious. If it's higher or even way higher, at least your fps should not be a reason why this happens.

my fps is 70+ , and i said that i play arma 2 on high so its soo hard i drop to 30 on pr

Edit: i use xfire to know my fps and i tried reinstalling the whole game cuse on vanilla i got same thing , could it be from Punkbuster?!

i think i got it!!! but stell , i go to task maneger i click bf2.exe set affinity , i choose 2 cpus and the problem gets lower , like if i got this thing happning ever 1 sec no it happens ever 10 i choosed 1 , it barley happens but i loose my sound so it got somthin to do with the cpu thing , p.s , could it be that my cpus arnt working togther?! , i need a computer geek to solve my problem plz ? any one ?! we are getting closer here !

i get mad connection problems when changing the affinity in-game. i suspect it might be because of having RSS enabled as seen on SpeedGuide.net :: Windows 7, Vista, 2008 Tweaks

not sure about this though, gonna have to try the default settings and see if there is a difference

fast update :S , ok i tried ur renderer thing , i dont get it , i get 2 fps not 1 like 30.2/16.2 wtF?! and i take the word 70 away some times it drops i dont get it , it should be high , some times it realy drops to 28 then goes back up why is that? and why i can run crysis and arma 2 on high and on pr i cant!?

Edit to Le : i missed up with the TCP thing once , not sure if it caused this

then i think we might be on to something here, try setting it all to default. im guessing RSS and chimney offload are the relevant ones.

ok i did it i think it made it i think its better now i hope , :S stay in touch to find out what will happen in the next episode

edit: its better now but the problem is stell there , so it have somthin to do with processore cpu and rss

you did say you touched these tcp settings, right?
