Im wondering If i can run Pr on dual hard drives. Now, let me explain....
I have one 80 GB sata HD, win 7 64 bit, that has Regular BF2, patched, proper cd key, and working. Now, Due to the new PR comming out and it being a HUGE file. I dont ahve enough room on my 80 GB HD. I set up another 250 GB hd that has win7 32 bit... My question is can I download PR onto the new HD when the regular BF2 is on the primary one.
thanks,
ice!

Are they in any raid array or are they just plugged in as 2 separate drives?
Or you could always download the Preload on your 250GB Drive, Make the 4 GB of space on your 80 then make the installer use C:
and they both have to be on the same Operating System. (64-bit I'm assuming)

Yes it is possible.
Downloading onto seperate drives is definitly possible but installing requires enough space on the driver where your BF2 directory is.
However:
You could relocate your mod folder or the whole BF2 directory, create a so called "Junction" pointing to its new location and everything should be fine - think of it as a redirect - without having to reinstall.
But due to the complexity of this process it might be more feasible and time-sparing to simply reinstall BF2 onto your new HDD. Then install the new PR there as well.

I do not know what PR.95's size on disk will be but it is likely to be >4GB.
(Download is ~3.85)

Reinstalling BF2 does not involve reinstalling windows!
You would simply uninstall all mods and BF2 using Windows' "Programs and Features" tool.
After that you would insert your BF2 disks, start the installer and instead of using the default location you would tell BF2 to install onto your "F:" drive.

This is not a simple task and if you want to do that you should do some further research and might need a 3rd party tool as well.
