Probably wrong forum, so if it is, please move it.

Anyways.

Awhile back, i remember playing the .87 project reality on my old computer.

Well, it died, and i got a somewhat newer machine.

On my old machine, it lagged like ****, i couldn't fly or drive, and barely shoot without crashing my computer.

But now, i have a computer that can run BF2 on high graphics.

Im wondering what i should run PR with? High, Medium, or low?

Specs:

Dell Optiplex GX280 Case
Hyperthreaded Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz
512mb MSI N8400GS (GeForce 8400GS) Video
2gb DDR2 Ram
500gb Seagate SATA ll HDD (I think)

I would really like to be able to play without lag, so could you tell me what is the best it will run without lag?

I would say medium with some Lows.

Also depends on the resolution you play at.

Easiest way is just to load up though and type renderer.drawfps 1 in console to see your fps.

I really suggest that you substitute limewire with utorrent.

For the graphics part, start on Low if its fine try Medium and if your PC can handle try High.

The higher the graphics the longer the loading time though.

you may want to keep the textures on medium or low, they eat away your computer's ability to deliver, and that way you can run more setting on high, or play with a larger screen resolution.

This is really a more, "just experiment yourself" situation.

I couldn't really give you an exact perfect level to run the graphics on, you just need to try it yourself.

Also, seriously replace limewire for utorrent.
