[0957] Major FPS issues on most maps.

On maps such as Fallujah West, Burning Sands, Lashkar Valley and Muttrah City I get a major drop in FPS when looking into the built up areas of town and the area where most of the combat is taking place.
In the prevous version Muttrah, and Al Basrah were ok, not great but playable. But after the update it seems that something which was implemented has initiated a greater loss in framerate.
My specs are not the best but could play PR in the previous version without much problems.

The opposite happened to me 0.91 = fail :/ all medium settings with below 40fps
0.95 = win all high settings with 60-100 fps

i also have huge FPS drops, but only sometimes after i ALT Tabbed out and back into the game.
i experienced it on Iron Eagle and Burning Sands til now. ...and trying to exit a game with 1 FPS is pretty much annoying

I'm getting fps drops as well in Muttrah City, Burning Sands, Fallujah West, Lashkar Valley and Gaza Beach. When i look into the centre of the map it seems to drop my fps to about 19-28 fps where as anywhere else its up to 50-70
I used to get fps drops in Fallujah West and Gaza Beach in 0.917. I also seem to get decreased fps in Muttrah and Burning sands.
Here are my specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor 3.2GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM
1 TB Total Samsung F3
ASUS ATI Radeon HD 4890 1GB
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

I get the same problem, i start with 80 fps, and within 20-30 mins. it is 15-25 and unplayable.
I also started to get the memory.dll error and i never had that before

time to uninstall and wait for a new patch, i was waiting so long for this one too

same problem when i turn off lighting its ok but when its on even on medium its unplayable and the building look weird with unusually patches of shadows on the walls had no problems in .91
in .91 i was running the game with this
terrain: medium
textures:high
geometry:high
effects: high
lighting: high
shadows: off
dynamic lighting: off
aa: off
texture filtering: medium
view distance 100%
resolution 1366x768
in .95
i have to put my textures on medium after that i can put everything on high (its kinda annoying TBH)
specs:
Windows Vista
Processor
Intel Core2Duo T5750 (2.0 Ghz)
Memory
3gb DDR2
Video Card(s)
Ati mobility 3650HD 512
and i really dont understand people that have a 3-4 times more poweful PC and cant run on low

i can list iron ridge before and still after update as laggy, wanda shan, dragon fly, silent eagle (jitters). this is on low to medium graphics with a medium range machine. I was told it was becuase they have not been optimised nad are aimed at the high end machines.

Unfortunately i have the same problem.
When using the 'older' version (0.91) i had no problems, every map had 60 fps, minimum was 35-40...
But when i use the newest maps, my frames have a huge loss of fps, i can pass from 80 to 25-28 in a second... and sometimes the image 'freeze' for 1-3 seconds and after then i can play...
I have a MacBook Pro, i am using Windows Seven 64 bit with BootCamp.
My specs are:
Intel core 2 duo 2,53 Ghz T9400
4 Gb Ram
Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT 512 Mb
about 50 Gb free on my partitioned disc, where windows is installed
I hope a patch could resolve this problem. I think the problem is that there are too many polygons in the newest maps.<
Thank you very much for reading our problems.

Same here.. Fallujah got even worse, Burning Sands is unplayable. My screen freezes for 1-4 sec when I run around or turn my camera, mostly in the urban areas. I run (ran*) most maps on high settings with 40+ FPS.

I can confirm FPS drop on Lashkar Valley on my side.
It was always a hogging map, not it is eating more performance than before. Any ideas?`Incresed viewdistance for objects or something? :-/

Many computers, many variables...
Lashkar actually got optimized, buggy fields removed and such... personally I have a ~40fps increase on it when looking West, compared to the 0.91 version.

Removing something can also create hundreds of other problems.

I saw that we have the same videocards... and what happens to you is just the same for me... My screen 'freezes' for 1-4 sec when looking at some building or areas rich of 'heavy polygons'.. but this is not very productive when you're driving the hely... always it results in a crash on the land or into a building...

not very funny

I've had that since 0.85 or something

I haven't had any problems with the maps, just random BSODs on high textures

for me that map got a lot better, its still not perfectly smooth but it playable now.
I also have major lag in Kokan, and i dont understand why, its just mostly trees with a few buildings, like fools road or kozelsk, and i can run those pretty smooth, im suspecting the view distance it too high but i doubt it.
I have not played wanda shan yet, but out of the other 3 maps the only one that runs perfectly fine is iron ridge, which is actually going to become one of my favorite maps
