Hi,I preloaded PR and installed it today,but at all seconds I have a mini freeze,its VERY annoing and i cant do nothing to stop it !!!!

PR was working perfectly in the older versions!

And its impossible for me to play in Burning Sands too!The game crash and it returns to the desk with a beautiful error message !

Try lowering some of your videos settings. It will probably fix the freezes or at least reduce them. As usual, PR steps into another update, another experience improval, but... as side effect, performance goes to hell. Screw the people with computers dating 5 years.

I have a Ahtlon X2 250 3ghz,4 gb ram,Nvidia GT 240 1gb...

Same for me its not lag as such and only freezes for a very short amount of time but tis there and annoying.

Does it on all high does it on all low (only tested on a local server)


My specs are in my profile also note I got no lag last major release when the whole community got it

These freezes usually mean that you are out of RAM and BF2 has to access your HDD.

Guess we can only wait for a new patch...

The freeze happens every 10-20 seconds. It is not related to video settings as I have tried all different combinations from low to high. This also only happens on several maps. Kashan Vehicles does not have the problem, but the very next map Dragon Fly does freeze.

I am going to start to make note of the map it happens on, as well as try to FRAPS it. Right now, I am at 99FPS and when the freeze happens, the FPS does NOT drop.

Just note its not server lag either as it happends on a local.

I have been getting everything from this new version, CTDing on maploading, to DCing because of punkbuster due to the fact my game has locked up as soon as I enter the mapscreen, to these mini freezes on the maps that Ive managed to get on (which slowly build up until the entire game locks up.

Same apart from the PB kick but only tested on a few servers witch usely CTD or lock up.

Also when I play everyone on the map is rubber banding making play impossable.
Its not my ping as I was in a english server (rare for me) with a ping of 40.

also happens on both AD Admin servers and BF2CC admin servers.
